Around the world, there has been a rise in a “mystery fleet” that may be involved in transporting Russian oil to circumvent Western sanctions, according to CNN.According to industry insiders, the size of the “ghost fleet” could reach 600 ships, or about 10% of the total number of major tankers in the world. At the same time, all data on shipowners remains classified and the number of tankers continues to grow.Western countries have previously introduced a number of restrictions on energy resources of Russian origin, including a price cap for oil and oil products from the Russian Federation. However, Moscow has said it will not sell fuel to states that support EU limits.
