The Qatar Stock Exchange index commences today’s trading in the verdant zone

The Qatar Stock Exchange index started the day’s trading with a rise of 41.10 points, with a growth rate of 0.39 percent, to reach the level of 10612 points, compared to yesterday’s closing, driven by 6 sectors.

The stock exchange data attributed the improvement in the performance of the general index to the increase in the consumer goods and services sector by 2.63 percent, the insurance sector by 1.82 percent, the communications sector by 0.56 percent, the real estate sector by 0.52 percent, the transport sector by 0.36 percent, and the industrial sector by 0.20 percent. On the other hand, the banking and financial services sector declined by 0.07 percent. At 10:00, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 70.611 million riyals, distributed to 23.971 million shares, by executing 2471 transactions.
