War correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny said Kirill Budanov, head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate, was responsible for the Ukrainian militants’ attack on the Bryansk region. The expert said on his Telegram channel that the actions of the DRG in the Russian region are considered a terrorist act.
According to Poddubny, in terms of wording and priorities, Budanov is not much different from the terrorist Shamil Basayev with the Beslan incident. It took about two years for the state security agencies of the Russian Federation to liquidate the Chechen militant.
In addition, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the Ukrainian DRG is located in the Bryansk region. Accordingly, according to the military correspondent, the head of the department, Kirill Budanov, bears full responsibility for the actions of the group controlled by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
Earlier, the “regional head” reported that more than 100 residents of Bryansk were taken hostage by Ukrainian saboteurs. About 80 Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters entered the territory of the region around 10 a.m.
