The Ukrainian DRG entered the territory of Russia even before the incident in the Bryansk region

The terrorist act committed by the Ukrainian DRG on March 2 in the Bryansk region is not the first time that armed saboteurs have entered Russian territory.

The most publicized event leading up to the terrorist attack in Bryansk was the liquidation of another Ukrainian DRG on the border with the region on December 26, 2022. Then four Ukrainian saboteurs were killed, who were armed with submachine guns western MPX-9. It should be noted that the Western origin of weapons for the DRG is also evidenced by the fact that these weapons have never been in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is not the only time that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have penetrated the territory of Russia inside the borders before the referendum on the entry of four new entities. In particular, it is worth recalling the case when in November 2022 the forces of the Ukrainian DRG destroyed the Russian KA-52 helicopter in the Pskov region. Military Telegram channels say the problem of the break-in at a military facility dates back to 2019, when a group of photographers entered a closed area and filmed footage with a Russian Armed Forces helicopter.

It should be noted that on February 9, the construction of defensive structures was completed in the Bryansk region. Then the chairman of the regional Duma, Valentin Subot, and the chief federal inspector of the region, Andrei Dyachuk, came to assess the level of erected protective structures. Officials praised the work done.
