His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, affirmed his pride in always meeting outstanding students in their studies, during his meeting with the winners of the Scientific Excellence Award in its 16th session.
His Highness congratulated the winners on this achievement, and wished them to continue making achievements, stressing that Qatar needs their efforts now and in the future.

His Highness said during the meeting, which was published by the Amiri Diwan via Instagram: “The country needs you and depends on you now and in the future, and these achievements that you have achieved are the beginning of the journey. I am confident that you will serve your country and your society.”.
His Highness added: “Our plans in Qatar, praise be to God, are very ambitious, but the plans cannot be realized and we cannot reach our ambition without your arms and capabilities. We depend on you now and in the future.”.
His Highness thanked the male and female teachers because they are the basis of this achievement and the basis for building society, stressing that there are plans for male and female teachers during the coming years to attract cadres in the future.
His Highness the Amir urged the outstanding students to be humble and dedicated to work and return the favor to this country.
His Highness affirmed Qatar’s pride in its Arab culture and identity, as all subjects are taught in Arabic, and urged His Highness to learn other languages.
His Highness the Emir added that the Qatari society is open to all the world, as the world saw Qatar’s experience during the World Cup and the welcome that was made during it for all without distinction between religion, race or background.
His Highness concluded his speech to the outstanding students by assuring them that the plan and the future depends on their sincerity and love for the homeland.
