Kadyrov proposed to introduce martial law in certain regions of Russia

The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has proposed introducing martial law in certain regions of Russia. He proposed such an initiative after the events in the Bryansk region, which the Kremlin called a terrorist act.
“I think martial law should have been introduced in some areas with a maximum level of response instead of the average currently established. Yes, it may be inconvenient for local residents, but they will be safe. This is my opinion, and our command, of course, knows best, “- said on Kadyrov’s telegram channel.
According to the head of Chechnya, the participants in the events in the Bryansk region “should be treated in the most severe way, as harshly and even cruelly as possible”. He called for “shoot to kill” and “bring to justice” the families of those involved in the incident, who may be living in Russia.
“Check them carefully and carefully. Experience shows that without their cooperation, indulgence and approval, such terrorist acts do not occur. No flirting with terrorists. Don’t let them go, punish them on the spot and neutralize them forever, then take retaliatory action against Kiev. Simply bomb all points that are directly or indirectly related to this attack. And you don’t need to look that there may be civilian objects nearby,” Kadyrov wrote.
On the morning of March 2, the head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that “Ukrainian saboteurs” entered the Klimovsky border region and fired on a car. As a result, one person died, a 10-year-old child was injured. Pro-government Russian media and telegram channels reported that a school bus had come under fire and hostages had been taken in one of the villages. Local authorities have not confirmed reports of the bus and the hostage taking.
Later, the “Russian Volunteer Corps” took responsibility for penetrating into the territory of Russia, which claims to be fighting alongside Ukraine. They said that they entered Russian territory in the number of 45 people and set an “ambush to two BMPs”. In the released video, they said they “do not fight civilians”.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the Ukrainian president’s chief of staff, called the incident a Russian provocation. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the events in the Bryansk region a terrorist act committed by “neo-Nazis”.
