Among them, Nasser Al-Khulaifi.. Forty-four million dollars, the proceeds of football stars’ munificence to the casualties of the Turkey temblor.

Club managers and international soccer stars, including Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, raised 845.7 million Turkish liras ($44.7 million) in one day for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey.

The donation campaign was broadcasted live on Turkey’s state television, television stations, and many digital media channels.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of the European Clubs Association and Paris Saint-Germain, donated $2.6 million to the campaign, according to the Anadolu news agency.

Football celebrities, such as Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, German Jurgen Klopp, Spaniard Pep Guardiola and his compatriot Mikel Arteta, Dutchman Ruud Gullit and Frenchman Arsene Wenger, joined the fundraising campaign, which was named "shoulder to shoulder"It is scheduled to continue until the 15th of June.

The Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Football Federation, the Premier League Clubs Association and beIN Media Group organized this campaign to meet the needs of those affected by the earthquake.
