In the Arkhangelsk region in February 2023, the most popular names were: for boys – Maxim, Mikhail, Dmitry, Alexander, Artyom and Yegor, for girls – Sofia, Eva, Ksenia, Polina, Varvara and Maria.

The rarest names for children in our region are: for boys – Arkhipp, Ekim, Yeseny, Kosmos and Svetozar, for girls – Agney, Almira, Euphrosyne, Neva and Liyana.

In total, in February 2023, the civil registry offices of the Arkhangelsk region registered the birth of 550 children: 275 boys and 275 girls (179 children are the first in the family, 208 are the second, 123 are third, 28 are fourth, 12 are fifth and more). In the second month of the year, the birth of 6 twins was registered in the region
