The agency said it was “monitoring the situation” and that air, navy and ground anti-aircraft missile systems were on high alert.”At 06:00 a.m. today, 24 planes and 4 PLA ships were found near Taiwan,” the ministry said.The military identified the aircraft as BZK-005, CH-4 and TB-001 drones, as well as J-10, J-11 and J-16 multirole fighters. A Y-8 electronic reconnaissance aircraft also approached the island.
