Taiwan reported the approach of 24 planes and 4 Chinese ships

At six o’clock in the morning, 24 planes and 4 ships of the People’s Liberation Army of China were found near Taiwan. This is stated in the message from the island’s Department of Defense.

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry also said 12 Chinese aircraft simultaneously entered the air defense zone from the southwest. Among them are J-16, J-11 and J-10 general-purpose fighters, Y-8 electronic intelligence aircraft, as well as TV-001, BZK-005 and CH-4 combat drones. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said ground-based air defense systems, as well as naval aviation vessels, have been placed on high alert.

Chinese People’s Liberation Army forces regularly appear near the island. The worsening of relations occurred in August last year. Then Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Nancy Pelosi arrived in Taiwan for a visit without an agreement with China.
