The country can compete with Azerbaijan, Iran and liquefied natural gas exporters including Algeria, Qatar and others. On this subject RIA Novosti said Evgenia Popova, analyst at Vygon Consulting.Experts say Russia will have to build new gas pipelines to supply enough fuel for the new hub. In addition, the country can expand those that already exist through the lands of Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.The idea of creating a gas hub was first announced last October, when explosions took place on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
