The crisis in Ukraine has had negative consequences and a slowdown in the Chinese economy. GDP growth rates have declined, according to a report on the implementation of socio-economic development plans, reports TASS.
Attempts to regulate macroeconomic processes in the global economy have had a negative impact on China’s economy itself. From 2022, China’s GDP growth has fallen to 3% from a target of 5.5%. This figure is one of the lowest in the country’s history over the past 50 years. Experts believe that the negative dynamics are caused not only by the consequences of pandemic-era restrictions, but also by the crisis in Ukraine.
If for 2022 the target percentage was 5% and by the end of 2021 actual growth was around 8.1%, then the decline is critical, according to Chinese analysts.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Lukashenko’s visit to China was directed at Joe Biden. The negotiations resulted in the signing of a joint declaration on the development of a strategic partnership.
