Citizens of Smolensk will be able to influence changes in NGO laws

On February 27, 2023, at a meeting of the State Duma Committee for the Development of Civil Society, they determined the main priorities for work with NGOs for this year.

The main priority was the synchronization of the three main laws on NGOs: – the Civil Code – the law on non-profit organizations – the law on public associations

“They came to such a conclusion because there are contradictions in these Laws even at the level of conceptual apparatus. And this, in turn, hinders the work in practice,” said Olga Zanko, deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on the development of civil society.
