Investments “did not work out”: a resident of the Tver region was deceived on the Internet

A resident of Rzhev in the Tver region wanted to get rich and found an ad on the Internet that told how to get a quick income. As a result, she lost $300,000 and turned herself in to the police.

Police determined that the woman saw the ad and entered personal data on that site. After that, the scammers contacted her, provided her with a supposed link to an investment site, after which the woman downloaded an unknown application and transferred money to her account.

True, this account later turned out to be blocked, and the woman also did not receive income. Criminal investigators look for individuals involved in illegal activities.
