The Argentine striker of French club PSG Lionel Messi has reached the milestone of 1000 points in his club career, according to Goal France on Twitter.
During Saturday’s match in the French championship against Nantes (4-2), the Argentinian opened the scoring by scoring the 701st goal to his credit. With 299 assists already, his club career has reached 1,000 points.
Most goals (672) scored by Lionel as part of Barcelona, where he played from 2003 to 2021, won the Spanish league ten times and won the Champions League four times. He became a PSG player in August. This summer, Messi, as part of the Argentina national team, won the World Cup in Qatar.
