The Minister of Health of the DPR called the heroes of the doctors who pulled the bullet out of a beating heart

Doctors from the Donetsk Clinical Medical Association managed to remove a bullet from a beating heart, DPR Health Minister Dmitry Gartsev said.The day before, a 36-year-old patient with a blind shrapnel wound was admitted to the medical facility. The foreign body was located directly in the pericardium, that is, in the heart sac. Heart surgeons operated on the injured man and now he is on the mend.“Our doctors are heroes. Specialists with extensive experience. They have no equal when it comes to mine explosions, fragmentation and gunshot wounds,” the head of the regional health ministry stressed in an interview with RIA News .The injured man is currently undergoing neurological therapy. In particular, he follows antibiotic prophylaxis and physiotherapy.
