The Minister of Municipality convened with the Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, Minister of Municipality, met today with HE Mr. Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Municipality and the Food and Agriculture Organization in the field of agriculture, livestock, fisheries and food security, and encourage research and modern technologies in developing and increasing agricultural, animal and fish production. The meeting touched on the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition in its tenth edition, which will be organized by the State of Qatar represented by the Ministry of Municipality from March 15-19, as well as Qatar’s hosting of Expo 2023 Doha from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024.
