The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has declared the commencement of repairs to the sections of the Corniche walkway in Doha that have been impaired.

The Public Works Authority announced that it is working to repair some of the damaged parts of the Corniche Street walkway in Doha.

Ashghal confirmed that the damage to the Corniche Street walkway was caused by the activities organized in the Qatar World Cup 2022.

Ashghal’s official account said via Twitter "With reference to the note on damages to some parts of the Corniche Street walkway, Ashghal would like to point out that it is a result of hosting some events accompanying the Qatar World Cup 2022, and work will be done to repair them.".
