3 new traffic lights will be installed in Kaluga

3 new traffic lights will be installed in Kalouga. The municipality continues to work to ensure road safety.

Plans for 2023 were approved in February and competitive procedures have already started to identify contractors. “Work is planned to install new traffic lights of the T-7 type on the Tulskoye highway in the area of the Sekiotovsky ring near houses No. 3 and No. 40B, as well as a traffic light with a button call for pedestrians on Naberezhnaya Street near the Berezuisky ravine,” the department said.

These are not all plans. For convenient and safe movement of residents of Kaluga, 2 new pedestrian crossings will be equipped and 3 existing crossings will be reconstructed. Also, at the intersection of Lenin – Chizhevsky streets, the existing traffic light will be reconstructed, and new artificial bumps will be installed on Vasily Strigunov Street.

The updating of markings on the roads of Kaluga will begin in the spring with the onset of warm weather.
