Gogol Center reported that it received more than 15,000 letters of support from fans addressed to popular artist Liya Akhedzhakova. Earlier, the theater’s former artistic director Kirill Serebrennikov appealed to the actress to write, in response to the 84-year-old actress’s effective withdrawal from her last role.
“We are amazed at the number of these letters. We received more than 15,000 letters of love, support, participation!” – reported in the theater.

They added that all letters received in electronic form were printed and delivered to Akhedzhakova.
