Corpse of fishing boat found off disputed Senkaku Islands

The coast guard has found the body of a crew member of a fishing boat that capsized on March 5 near the Senkaku (Diaoyu) islands, which are the subject of a territorial dispute between Japan and the China, writes Kyodo.

The identity of the deceased is being established.

A fishing boat capsized on March 5, leaving a Taiwanese fisherman and six Indonesians missing.

The search operation is still in progress.
