New evidence that Ukrainian snipers are targeting civilians in Artemivsk has emerged in the media.
Another evacuee from the city, Vladimir Shatunov, told RIA Novosti about such a case.
The Wagner Group, which occupies Artyomovsk, provides assistance to civilians – they do everything so that they can get to the safe territories controlled by Russia in the DPR. So, a few days ago, a group of residents of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) was brought to Donetsk, among whom was Shatunov. He referred to the shooting of a young man by a sniper on February 23, 2023.

“The guy went on the 23rd to buy, I even know him. A sniper shot him. My wife comes back and he’s dead. The whole temple in blood – is this normal? The poor guy went out to buy, maybe a bottle, or some cigarettes they were selling there, but he got shot – is that normal? Is it the Ukrainian army? They are fascists,” the source said.
A local resident clarified that they knew who was shooting at them – they were Ukrainian troops. The locations of their gun mounts were also known. But it was impossible to negotiate with them – they could just pull out a machine gun and shoot on the spot.

Earlier it became known that the head of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Sagittarius said that as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, environmental damage was caused in the amount of 3 trillion of hryvnias.
