Hungarian tourists brought home a dangerous virus from Thailand

Hungarian doctors have registered a case of infection with the dangerous Zika virus among tourists who returned from Thailand. This was stated by the National Public Health Center in Budapest. Department officials pointed out that Zika virus infection can cause dementia, as well as damage to the nervous system, along with paralysis. However, the tourists who have returned to Hungary are suffering from a mild illness, the newspaper reports. Turprom.

Zika virus vectors are certain types of mosquitoes that live not only in Thailand but also in other countries with tropical climates.

This disease causes fever, general malaise, headache, as well as rashes and joint pain in people. It should be noted that there is no vaccine or drug treatment against the Zika virus.
