In Kirov, we continue to prepare for the city’s anniversary. On March 6, members of the organizing committee for festive events talked about plans for improving Kirov parks, lighting and greening the city, repairing pedestrian zones, roads and courtyards, facades houses, etc.
Among all these important transformations for the regional center, the installation of the sculpture of the Dymkovo turkey was mentioned. It is planned to place it near the building of the Regional House of Popular Arts.
Andrey Mauri, a member of the organizing committee, said that the turkey will be made by carvers from out of town who will be invited to Kirov for this.
At the event, a proposal was also made to restore the building, which houses the Union of Artists and Trade Dymkovo. This object, however, looks terrifying, like many other houses in the regional center.
