In Noyabrsk, women who sew balaclavas, sweatshirts, hats and other items needed by special operations soldiers received a spacious working room. This was reported on March 5 in the press service of the city administration.
The craftswomen have already sent 120 balaclavas, 135 seat mats, 60 sweatshirts, 76 hats with snoods and 2,000 identification bands to the forehead. But it’s not very convenient for them to work from home, so the head of the Combat Unity Foundation turned to the head of Noyabrsk, Alexei Romanov, for help – the seamstresses received an apartment of four rooms.
With funds from the foundation, a workshop, dubbed “Golden Hands”, was purchased with a professional sewing machine, serger and embroidery machine. Those who wish to join will be gladly accepted into the ranks of the assistants – if necessary, they will teach everything.
Earlier we said that Alena Okotetto from Yar-Sale creates masterpieces of national clothes of northerners. Shirts in the form of a tricolor for athletes appeared in her collection – the craftswoman sews them to support the Russians who went to defend their homeland.
