On the same day, a married couple died in the village of Budarki, in the Kharkiv region: their car was hit by a Russian artillery shell.
The death toll rose following a Russian strike on a five-storey building in Zaporizhzhia on the night of March 2. According to the Ukrainian authorities, 13 people were killed.
