Businesses of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky were searched. According to Kiev security officials, Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta seized petroleum products worth 800 million UAH, or about $21.5 million.
The seized oil will be sent to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The raid on the assets of the oligarch takes place within the framework of an investigation into fraud in the companies Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta. Earlier, security forces visited his house, but the results of the searches were not released.
By the way, in Russia a criminal case was opened against businessman Kolomoisky for stealing more than 800 tons of oil from Tatneft. President Vladimir Putin noted in an interview that Kolomoisky is a rare “thug”. Putin, in particular, spoke of a similar fact of stealing money by Kolomoisky from Roman Abramovich.
The injury was reported that the property of Ukrainian oligarchs Akhmetov and Kolomoisky would be nationalized in Crimea. Under the nationalization were also the assets of other Ukrainian politicians and businessmen – a total of about 500 objects.
