Patriarch Kirill presented the Governor of the Tver region with the diploma of the Order of Sergei Radonezh II

On March 5, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus’ presented the Governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudena, with the Order of the Russian Orthodox Church. This was reported on the website of the Tver Metropolis.

Patriarch Kirill celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. The ceremony was followed by the award ceremony. In honor of his 55th birthday and thanks to the help of the Tver diocese, Igor Rudenya was awarded the Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh, II degree.

Metropolitan of Tver and Kashinsky Ambrose were unable to attend the ceremony as he tested positive for coronavirus. Later, he contacted the head of the region by telephone and congratulated him on receiving the award.
