Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Ryazan Toponic Commission proposed new names of 1st and 2nd Bezbozhnye streets

At an off-site meeting of the toponymic commission of the city of Ryazan, a discussion took place about the renaming of Bezbozhny streets. This is reported by Ryazanskiye Vedomosti.

It should be noted that the issue of the name change was raised 15 years ago. Then the city authorities decided to demolish the old houses and register new buildings on Vokzalnaya Street, the Small Highway and Pervomaisky Avenue. But the houses are still standing on Godless Streets, because the developers didn’t take interest in them.

According to Nikolai Bulychev, chairman of the toponymic commission, new addresses can be assigned to houses along Vokzalnaya Street and Pervomaisky Avenue. The possibility of renaming the streets to Troitsky, Slobodsky, 1st and 2nd Vokzalny passages is also considered.
