The Ministry of Labor has proposed to increase social pensions from April 1

“Russian newspaper” announced plans by the Ministry of Labor to increase social pensions from April 1.

This project was submitted to public debate. Indexing is usually done once a year.

The Ministry of Labor pointed the finger at inflation. It was decided to increase a number of social benefits in stages to support Russian incomes in the face of rising prices. Since June 1, the cost of living, the minimum wage, insurance and social pensions have already been indexed by 10%.

Since January of this year, the cost of living has risen another 3.3%.
