So, in 2023, Prigorodnaya Street will be repaired in Smolensk as part of a national project. The corresponding order was issued by the governor of the Smolensk region Alexei Ostrovsky based on the requests of the inhabitants of the region.
Another street, the repair of which excites the residents of Smolensk, is Shevchenko, which is one of the main arteries of the regional center. its condition has deteriorated markedly in the 2022 year. In 2023, it is planned to repair two sections of this street: from the intersection with Kirova Street to the intersection with Rumyantseva Street and from the intersection with Rumyantseva Street at the intersection with Popova Street.
In addition, calls were received from the residents of Smolensk about the repair of the section of the road “Belarus” Moscow – the border with the Republic of Belarus “- Khmelita – Kholm-Zhirkovsky – Yakovlevo from the Kholm-Zhirkovsky border and Vyazemsky neighborhoods to the village of Pigulino.In 2023, as part of the national project, the entire route along this road from the M1 Belarus highway to the village of Kholm-Zhirkovsky will be repaired.
Also, the residents of Smolensk asked when the repair of the Olsha-Velizh-Usvyaty-Nevel road will continue. In 2022, during the implementation of the national project, 11 sections of this road were repaired, almost 30 kilometers connecting the Smolensk and Pskov regions. In 2023, the repair work on this road will continue. So, in the Velizhsky district, it is planned to repair three road sections with a total length of almost 17 km.
It should be noted that within the framework of the national project “Safe High-Quality Roads” in 2023 in the Smolensk region, it is planned to repair more than 307 kilometers of regional and intermunicipal roads, as well as 12 street and street objects the network road of the city of Smolensk with a total length of 10.7 km.
