Young musician Ostrovsky became the winner of the international competition

The young musician Ostrovsky became the winner of an international competition. As MK in Pskov told the press service of the Ostrovsky district administration, a resident of the city, Roman Gaivoronsky, won the title of winner of the X International Children’s Creativity Competition “Magic Sounds of Music “.

The event ended in Sebezh. Almost 50 talented children and teenagers from different parts of the Pskov region and the Republic of Belarus competed for the title of the best. Experienced teachers from local children’s music and arts schools acted as jury members.

Roman Gaivoronsky, a 6th grade student from Ostrov, competed in the senior age group (among children aged 13-15). During the competition, the young musician presented two works to the jury at once: “Forget-Me-Not” by A. Arensky and “Ragtime” by A. Klassen. Experts highly appreciated Ostrovic’s performance and recognized him as the winner of the 1st degree.
