On the eve of International Women’s Day, a festive event was held at the Department of Internal Affairs in Sochi. In a solemn atmosphere, Police Major General Sergei Ogurtsov congratulated the team members and thanked them for their contribution to law enforcement and the fight against crime.
For the exemplary performance of their duties, employees of the Sochi police received certificates of honor and letters of thanks. The ceremony also announced the awarding of the next special titles.
The event was also attended by women – veterans of internal affairs bodies. They were also thanked for their help to young police officers and for their work of patriotic education of the younger generation.
Earlier, MK Sochi wrote that about seven dozen different events would take place at the resort in honor of March 8. Recall that residents and guests of the city are waiting for concerts, film screenings, performances and much more.
