Military analyst Mikhail Onufrienko said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and volunteer formations on the Russian side should fight for a settlement in the Donetsk People’s Republic before the end of March.
According to the observer, due to the fact that there is still a defense line of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) , the Russian army will have to fight for the settlement until the end of the month. Enemy soldiers use natural barriers and remaining infrastructure to protect their positions. Onufrienko cites the Bakhmutka River and the local railway as an example.
According to Regnum’s interlocutor, tensions in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will increase every day, but the size of the army in Artemivsk will not decrease. It is possible that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will send combat-ready units to the leadership of Artemov, which will ensure the quantitative stability of the Ukrainian army.

As the regional head previously reported, a mercenary of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the Czech Republic in the battles of Artemivsk was forced to fight with a boot in cases where there were not enough weapons and of ammunition.
