Electric vehicle charging infrastructure will appear in the Tver region

On March 7, the governor of the Tver region held a meeting of the regional government, during which it was decided to start a more active development of infrastructure for charging electric vehicles.

Igor Rudenya focused on the fact that charging stations should appear on the roads leading to popular attractions. Electric transport is the future and our region has approved a number of support measures for investors who want to develop similar projects in the Upper Volga region.

– Companies implementing investment projects for the construction of charging stations for electric vehicles benefit from a partial reimbursement of the costs of purchasing equipment up to 60% of the cost. In addition, subsidies are provided to reimburse the costs of technological connection of charging infrastructure facilities – 30% of the costs for these purposes, – reports.

There are also requirements for charging stations. They should be located on the areas of multifunctional complexes or roadside gas stations. In cities, structures will spawn along streets, as well as in parking lots. Two vehicles will be able to park at the same time, and the station itself will operate 24 hours a day.
