Representatives of Rusatom Healthcare presented a radiation therapy complex based on a linear particle accelerator, which is used to treat about 90% of forms of cancer.
Another promising area of cooperation, Shlychkov, called the use of additive technologies in production, from the creation of elements of certain products to large supplies of equipment. And during the visit to the Center for Additive Technologies, created by the industrial integrator Rusatom – Additive Technologies, Belarusian colleagues were able to discover the possibilities of 3D printing and its application to the needs of various industries. The parties have already agreed to study the possibility of creating a joint production.In addition, guests were told about telecommunications equipment for critical infrastructure and product demonstration projects at the Belarusian TIBO forum in April this year, which will be dedicated to new communication opportunities.
The Belarusian side has shown reasonable interest in Rosatom’s skills in the field of digitalization of public administration, urban environment and transport infrastructure. In this regard, the companies “Cifrum” and “Rusatom – Digital Solutions” presented their products, which are also successfully used in high-tech industries.The Russian nuclear industry management system “Navigator”, created using artificial intelligence technologies, is also recognized as an effective tool for increasing the speed and quality of management decisions.
In addition, Shlychkov pointed out that a presentation of a multi-purpose fast neutron research reactor was organized especially for the delegation. It should become the most powerful research reactor in the world. The Belarusian side was invited to consider various formats of participation in an international joint research consortium.
The parties agreed to continue working contacts, including in the form of working groups on various promising projects. In a nutshell, Rosatom, Kirill Komarov, First Deputy General Director of the Corporation, assured that “it is open to the implementation of joint projects, the main objective of which is to improve people’s quality of life”. .
