Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Novy Urengoy motorist faces 2 years in prison for repeated impaired driving

A 26-year-old resident of the gas capital again got behind the wheel of a car “less than a diploma” and was caught by the police. A man can be imprisoned for up to two years, the Russian Interior Ministry’s press service for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported on March 6.

In October 2021, the driver was brought to administrative liability for refusing to submit to a medical examination for intoxication.

In November 2022, the Novy Urengoy got drunk again and went skating. This time, he will be judged under the penal article “Drunk driving by a person subject to an administrative sanction or having a criminal record”.

Earlier we said that a resident of Labytnangi was left without a car for similar violations – transport was confiscated at state expense. In addition, the perpetrator was assigned 440 hours of compulsory labor.
