Pushkov appreciated Bolton’s desire to “win” in a nuclear war

Member of the Federation Council of Russia Alexei Pushkov in his Telegram channel commented statements by former US national security adviser John Bolton, who recommended to the White House to increase the number of nuclear warheads in the event of a nuclear confrontation with Russia.

According to the Russian senator, such conversations can only be carried out by a person who is not entirely mentally healthy.

“With his abstract discussions of nuclear war, which contain no assessment of the consequences of an exchange of nuclear strikes, John Bolton has once again proven himself to be mentally ill. But the horror is that he It is in such categories that a significant part of the American ruling class argues: they intend to win (??!) in a nuclear confrontation,” Pushkov wrote.

He also added that the obsession with winning a nuclear war is “a clear sign of political madness”.
