Qatar: The Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Burundi sign an agreement to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of work

Today, the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Burundi signed an agreement to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of work.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Government of the State of Qatar by Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al-Marri, Minister of Labor, and on behalf of the Republic of Burundi by HE Albert Chingiro, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation.

The signing of this agreement comes within the framework of the cooperation strategy implemented by the State of Qatar with various governments and international organizations in the fields of work to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences and the best international experiences in the work sector.

According to the agreement, cooperation focuses on regulating the recruitment of Burundian workers to the State of Qatar, and working to simplify and facilitate procedures between the two parties in the field of recruitment, and to benefit from the skills and specializations in Burundi.

After the signing ceremony, the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations in issues related to the labor sector, and reviewed mechanisms to enhance and support them during the coming period.
