The head of Kemerovo spoke about the construction of a road bridge over Iskitimka

Mayor of Kemerovo Dmitry Anisimov spoke on his web page about the construction of a new road bridge over the Iskitimka.

According to the mayor, the purpose of the construction is to connect the new center, which was formed along Pritomsky Avenue, with the “old” historical center.

“We are creating new transport and pedestrian links, forming new urban tourist routes. And another bridge over Iskitimka will solve this problem,” Dmitry Anisimov said.

The bridge will be 92 meters long and 23 meters wide. It should be noted that the bridge will consist of four traffic lanes. In addition, pedestrians and cyclists will be able to move along a comfortable sidewalk with cycle paths.

Dmitry Anisimov added that it is planned to build exits to the main streets – Sovetsky Avenue and Prytomsky Avenue.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2023.

And earlier, the head of Kemerovo explained when and why they would block the Kuzbass bridge over the Tom.
