The Order of Courage was awarded posthumously to Igor Kozhushko, who died at the front, from the Tazovsky district

Igor Kozhushko from the Tazovsky district died in the special operation area. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, the head of the municipality, Vasily Parshakov, announced on his social media pages on March 6.

“The junior sergeant died on a combat post during a special military operation. By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, for the courage, bravery and devotion shown in the performance of his military duty, he was posthumously awarded a high state award,” wrote the district head.

Vasily Parshakov presented the fighter award to his family. He thanked Igor’s parents, who raised a true patriot who bravely and worthily defended the interests of our country.

Earlier we talked about the death of Yevgeny Yaptik from the Yamal region in the NVO zone. On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the head of Salekhard, Alexei Titovsky, presented the compatriot’s awards – the Order of Courage and the medal “For Courage” – to his sister Elena Railean.
