Twitter is on fire over Elon Musk and Haraldar’s writing row – ‘That’s stupid’

It’s safe to say that few things are more discussed on the Twitter social network than the writing dispute between Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and owner of the outlet, and Haraldar Inga Þorleifsson, a former Twitter employee. . As he rose to prominence, Twitter bought out the Ueno company, which Haraldur had built, and as a result, the Icelandic entrepreneur became an employee of the social media giant.
Musk has been in charge of a complete revolution in how Twitter works, about which there are different opinions as to whether it’s good or not. Just before the end of last month, there was a series of layoffs on Twitter and Haraldur suddenly found he had been blocked from company systems.
Haraldur then bluntly asked Musk on his Twitter page if he was simply still an employee of the company, since the head of human resources could not confirm this to him. He enlisted the help of the Twitter community to bring the issue to Musk’s attention and got his wish. has been read 17 million times by users of the program and shared around 13,000 times.

Dear @Elon Musk 👋
9 days ago, access to my work computer was cut off, along with about 200 other Twitter employees.
However, your HR manager is unable to confirm whether I am an employee or not. You haven’t answered my emails.
Maybe if enough people retweet, you’ll reply to me here?

Musk’s attention was caught and as a result an incredible outdoor relationship began that still has no end in sight. Among other things, Musk asked Harald what he had been working on, but Harald replied that he couldn’t comment on it on Twitter without breaching confidentiality. Musk later confirmed that this confidentiality had been lifted, and as a result, Haraldur listed his plans for the social media giant.
Among other things, working on so-called SaaS contracts, which Haraldar says have saved the company tens of millions, as well as managing the company’s various design projects. Musk responded to the list by mocking the Icelandic entrepreneur. In another post, Musk then accused Harald of not doing anything smart for Twitter.

The reality is that this guy (who is independently wealthy) did no real work, pretended as an excuse that he had a disability that prevented him from typing, but was simultaneously tweeting a storm.
I can’t say I have much respect for that.

During the controversy, Haraldur revealed that he had received a response from Twitter’s human resources manager confirming that he was no longer an employee of the company.
Haraldur seemed content to finally have it figured out, but then asked Musk one last question. “The next question is, are you going to make sure that I get paid according to what is owed to me under the contract?” ”

Now the next question is will you make sure I can pay what I owe according to my contract? !
— Halli (@iamharaldur) March 7, 2023

It’s clear that Haraldur thinks Musk will avoid paying what the company owes, but the mogul has yet to answer Haraldur’s question.
As mentioned earlier, the communication got a lot of attention in the Twitter community. The experience of media users is perhaps best described in the words of one internet user: “It’s screwed up”. Why should the poor man prove his worth to this reptile.”
