In Kislovodsk, on March 13, the national cuisine festival-competition “Cuisine sans frontières” will open for the first time. From now on, registrations for the ethno dinners are continuing. Everyone can contact the organizers via the festival’s social networks.
“Cuisine sans frontières” is the winner of the national award in the field of event tourism “Russian Event Awards”. In the seaside town it will be held for the first time. There are plans to hold several other major food festivals in the city. The development of this tourist area is now relevant for the resort area, ”said the head of Kislovodsk Evgeny Moiseev.
As part of the “Cuisine sans frontières” festival-competition, cafes and restaurants will present dishes from the national cuisine prepared in an artisanal way. Guests of ethnic dinners will be able to see the cooking process, participate in culinary master classes and enjoy the cultural program. Russian, Armenian, Jewish, Georgian, Dagestani, Ossetian and other ethnic cuisines will be presented to the jury and participants.
The festival will last until the end of the month. The inauguration of “Cuisine sans frontières” will take place on March 13 in one of the restaurants of the city, and the final of the competition will take place on April 1. A competent jury will choose the best public catering establishment in Kislovodsk.
Admission to ethno dinners is chargeable.
The event is organized with the support of the Stavropol regional branch of the NGO “OPORA RUSSIA”, the National Union of Hotel Industry (OSIG), the Russian international travel club “Sabay Travel”.
