Freed RF Armed Forces fighter says Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to provide medical assistance to captured soldiers

A Russian armed forces fighter released from captivity said Ukrainian fighters were denied medical assistance.

“Some had bullets in their limbs for 5-6 months, they were not removed,” the Izvestia soldier’s words reported.

On the eve of the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that 90 Russian soldiers were discharged from the captivity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The soldiers will receive the necessary psychological and medical assistance.

Meanwhile, representatives from the office of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the exchange of 130 Ukrainian servicemen. Russian human rights ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova explained that the initial agreement provided for an exchange according to the 160 for 160 format, however, the Ukrainian side took the decision to transfer only 90 people.
