Governor of Omsk region Alexander Burkov congratulated residents of the region on International Women’s Day.
The concert “Flight of Feelings”, dedicated to the holidays, took place in the concert hall of the Omsk Philharmonic. At the event, the head of the region gave a speech.
“I would like, dear ladies, to wish that your house always had good weather. And not just March 8,” Burkov said.
The State Academic Omsk Russian Folk Choir quartet, the Premier group, the Tarskie Vorota quartet, a variety and brass band led by Boris Chernyadyev, the Omsk State Children’s Ensemble, the Malina Dance Project and others took part in the festive programme.

Meanwhile, the women themselves decorate the town for the holidays. The tram driver in her spare time decorated one of her cars. It will delight the eyes of passengers for another week after March 8.
