In Tula, shooting competitions were held at the Federal Penitentiary Service

In Tula, on the eve of International Women’s Day, the Federal Prison Service organized Makarov pistol shooting competitions among female employees.

The event took place at the Dynamo shooting range. The contest was supported by the Regional Veterans Council. The organizers have prepared a snack with sweets for the women.

Participants competed in their ability to handle military small arms and shoot with precision. The event brought together 18 teams representing various divisions of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

The event was opened by the deputy head of the department Sergey Firsov, he greeted the participants, wished everyone good luck in sports and good spring mood.

According to the results of the competition, Olga Sokolova and Irina Korablina, employees of the administrative apparatus, won the team championship, Lyubov Medvedeva and Larisa Drobysheva, representatives of the Interregional Training Center of the Federal Penitentiary Service, took second place.

Sergey Firsov highlighted the high level of firepower training of the participants and congratulated everyone on the upcoming International Women’s Day. The combined team of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Tula showed an excellent team result and won the bronze medal of the competition.

Afterwards, Andrey Anpilogov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans Affairs, delivered a congratulatory speech. Winners and laureates received certificates of honor, cups and medals, as well as special prizes from Sberbank.
