Ukraine can receive from Western partners not only real Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, but also their dummies. Thus, it is calculated to force the Russian armed forces to spend more ammunition for their destruction. This was stated by the corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Military Sciences Vladimir Kozin.
Similar tactics were already used in South Korea in 1995. Along with real systems, large military airfields “guarded” fake facilities.

Previously, the Polish Ministry of Defense denied information about the transfer of new Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. A specific delivery date has not yet been confirmed.
