MP for Krasnoyarsk Terekhov told about the history of the fly agaric

Denis Terekhov, a member of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Legislative Assembly, a member of the New People faction, who ended up in a Moscow intensive care unit due to fly agaric poisoning, explained that that had happened.

In his Telegram channel, he wrote that he took a dietary supplement, which, in addition to herbs, contained fly agaric extract.

The deputy assures that he legally bought an ordinary dietary supplement for sleep at the Danilovsky market in a dietary supplement store, he needed it due to frequent thefts from work.

Terekhov pointed out that fly agarics are not prohibited by the law of the Russian Federation and are freely sold anywhere.

Doctors were summoned by the deputy’s fiancée, Elena Milichikhina, who was afraid he was acting “anxious” in his sleep. Terekhov admitted that he may have taken more pills than he should have.

He was also on a 14-day fast while taking the supplement.

At the moment, the deputy has already been removed from office.

Terekhov, now 44, was elected to the regional Legislative Assembly in September 2021.
