Northern women will be entertained with songs and stories about Pomeranian women in Arkhangelsk gostiny yards on March 8

Arkhangelsk Gostiny Dvors has prepared three events to celebrate International Women’s Day. At 12 p.m., the family hour “How Our Wives Dressed” will begin. This is a game lesson based on fairy tales by Stepan Pisakhov.

At 2 p.m., the townspeople await the visit “A luminous image through the ages”. There are many exhibits and exhibitions in Gostiny Dvor. Often many of them speak exclusively of the male role in the story. On March 8, this historic injustice will be corrected, and on a journey through the museum’s exhibition projects, they will specifically address the theme of women and female figures in history. Townspeople will be told about the temperament of Pomeranian women, the ingenuity of merchant wives, courage, beauty, love and drama.

At 4 p.m., the event at gostiny dvor will be completed by the concert of the cover band “Be Happy”.
