Ombudsman Moskalkova said Ukraine does not want to take 70 Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters

Russia

Tatyana Moskalkova, Russia’s human rights commissioner, provided a list of 70 soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces whom Kiev refused to bring in as part of the exchange.

“Here is a list of 70 soldiers that the Ukrainian side did not want to exchange for our guys. As they say, draw your own conclusions…,” the Ombudsman wrote on her official Telegram channel.

The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense had announced that 90 soldiers had been returned from captivity. One of those released said Ukrainian fighters refused to provide the injured with necessary medical treatment.

Meanwhile, representatives from the office of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the exchange of 130 Ukrainian servicemen. Tatyana Moskalkova explained that the initial agreement involved an exchange according to the 160 for 160 format. However, the Ukrainian side took the decision to transfer only 90 people.
